"Nakanoshima Qross Global Life Sciences Cluster"
In Osaka Prefecture, with "Nakanoshima Qross (NQ)" as its core, the prefecture aims to establish a "startup ecosystem for future medicine" in order to solidify its position as a hub for the industrialization of future medicine, including regenerative medicine.
This project aims to strengthen collaboration between NQ's startup ecosystem and domestic and international investors (VCs/CVCs/operating companies) and to form an "investment community" to jointly create Japan-born, global-scale innovation.
Our Projects
Main activities (June 2020 - March 2020)
Semi-monthly pitchGenerally, two sessions per month / entirely in English, online or hybrid format.
- Startups from Japan and abroad will give pitches based on various themes (we will also consider setting themes that are requested by community participants).
- Over 60 startups are scheduled to present. The event will be held at times that take into consideration the time differences.
NQ CVC Liaison CommitteeGenerally once a month / All in English, online or hybrid
- A session for sharing case studies and exchanging opinions among overseas healthcare VCs/CVCs/operating companies and investors, including NQ.
- Providing the latest information on domestic issues (including subsidies and system information) and Nakanoshima Cross.
