The Nakanoshima Qross Drug Discovery Cluster Campus Project Kick-off Event will be held on Thursday, August 8st at Congress Square Osaka Nakanoshima (Square 21) on the first floor of Nakanoshima Qross.
From challenge to implementation. Take the next step in the drug discovery ecosystem with Nakanoshima Qross.
This event is being held to commemorate the launch of the Nakanoshima Qross Drug Discovery and Practical Application Promotion Program Support Project, which was adopted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Drug Discovery Cluster Campus Development Project.
This project aims to strengthen Japan's drug discovery capabilities by establishing a system to commercialize drug discovery seeds from startups and academia. It will connect a wide range of stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, venture capitalists, medical institutions, and local governments, to support the formation of a global drug discovery hub and the creation of new drugs.
The base for this effort will be Nakanoshima Qross, which will be responsible for the industrialization of future medicine. Through human resource development, incubation support, and open innovation, the company will accelerate the social implementation of drug discovery seeds.
In addition to introducing government policies, the event will feature pitches from startups supported in the first phase and a panel discussion with pharmaceutical companies and investors. We look forward to the participation of researchers, startups, and companies interested in implementing drug discovery.
