On Wednesday, October 8th, the Nakanoshima Qross Future Medicine Forum in YOKOHAMA will be held at TKP Garden City PREMIUM Yokohama Landmark Tower. This forum will report on the progress of the Nakanoshima Qross Drug Discovery and Practical Application Promotion Program, which was adopted by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare as part of the Drug Discovery Cluster Campus Development Project. It aims to foster new collaboration with domestic and international startups, pharmaceutical companies, and investors. Aiming to address Japan's drug discovery challenges of drug lag and drug loss, the forum will build a multifaceted support system, including regulatory compliance, intellectual property strategy, fundraising, and business development, to support the development and social implementation of innovative new drugs. Located in Nakanoshima, Osaka, Nakanoshima Qross is a rare industrialization hub that brings together medical institutions, companies, and support organizations, and is also working to collaborate with global pharmaceutical companies and overseas innovation hubs. In addition to discussing policy background and the latest initiatives, the forum will also share pitches from supported startups, expectations and support from accelerators and pharmaceutical companies, and the challenges and prospects of the CDMO business.
