On Thursday, November 27th, the "2nd Regenerative Medicine x Manufacturing Technology Collaboration Forum - Exploring Industry Challenges and Collaboration Potential from the Perspective of Technology Needs in the Regenerative Medicine Field" will be held at the Qrossover Lounge Yume on the second floor of Nakanoshima Qross.

This event is the second in a series of events jointly organized by the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Kansai Regenerative Medicine Industry Consortium (KRIC), Nakanoshima Qross, and Higashiosaka City.

In the field of regenerative medicine, progress in clinical research is making it possible to treat intractable diseases, but industrialization requires streamlining the supply chain, including cell culture and transportation, and promoting open innovation by private companies.However, there are also challenges, such as high barriers to entry, making it difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to participate.

The purpose of this event is to connect the technical challenges of regenerative medicine with the technologies of manufacturing companies.
In the first part, the Kyoto University iPS Cell Research Foundation (CiRA_F) introduced its initiatives, research content, and technology needs, and Nakanoshima Qross tenant companies also presented their needs.
The second part will be a CiRA_F tour and networking event.
We aim to promote collaboration between the regenerative medicine industry and manufacturing companies and create new industries.
