We held the "Future Medical Experience Tour & Seminar @ Nakanoshima Qross" on Wednesday, March 4th and Wednesday, March 18th.

On Wednesday, March 4th and Wednesday, March 18th, we held the "Future Medical Experience Tour & Seminar @ Nakanoshima Qross" at the Qrossover Lounge Yume on the 2nd floor of Nakanoshima Qross.

As an international hub for future medicine, Nakanoshima Qross brings together medical care, research, industry, and the local community to provide opportunities to "learn while experiencing" future medicine.

On the day of the event, we conducted facility tours of hospitals and clinics, allowing participants to see a part of the actual medical environment. We introduced the distinctive initiatives of the medical institutions within Nakanoshima Cross and the collaboration between the clinics, providing participants with an opportunity to feel closer to the roles and functions of the facilities.

Following the tour, we conducted a cell manufacturing experience using VR. Participants commented that experiencing the cell manufacturing process in a virtual space allowed them to "experience areas they wouldn't normally have access to," making it a program that deepened their understanding of future medicine.

Additionally, as a mini-seminar, on March 4th, Professor Hasegawa from Qualips Corporation gave a presentation on "Development and Manufacturing in the Field of Regenerative Medicine - The Case of Qualips Corporation's iPS Cell-Derived Cardiomyocyte Sheets."

Furthermore, on March 18th, we conducted a showroom tour of AS ONE Corporation.

Participants who experienced the clean benches and other equipment in VR were able to actually see them in person, and commented that "experiencing the actual space and scale deepened our understanding even further."

Through this event, we were able to create an opportunity to promote understanding and stimulate interest by allowing participants to experience the medical and research fields firsthand.

Going forward, Nakanoshima Cross will continue to provide a variety of opportunities to engage with medicine and research.
