Following the opening remarks by Mr. Toshiro Okuyama (Vice Chairman, Future Medical Promotion Foundation), Mr. Jun Miyagawa (Representative Director, MIRACLE SCIENCE INNOVATION Co., Ltd.) gave an overview of Nakanoshima Qross and introduced various acceleration programs being conducted using Nakanoshima Qross as a field, explaining the future medical innovation ecosystem that Nakanoshima Qross aims to create.
Next, Nippon Life Insurance Company gave an overview of "Osaka Life Science Nexus by Nippon Life and CIC," which is scheduled to open on May 28, 2026, along with their initiatives and future prospects at Nakanoshima Qross.
Afterward, they toured Rohto Pharmaceutical's regenerative medicine research institute "Rohto Cross Innovation Lab," the industry-academia-medical collaboration small office and lab "Mitsui Link Lab Nakanoshima," and the floor (8th floor of Nakanoshima Qross) where the "Osaka Life Science Nexus by Nippon Life and CIC," currently under construction, is scheduled to open.
By allowing participants to see the actual facilities firsthand, this was a valuable opportunity to give them a concrete image of the innovation creation and international contributions through the provision of future medical care at Nakanoshima Qross, which will accelerate even further in the future.
