Prior to the opening of "Osaka Life Science Nexus by Nippon Life and CIC" (hereinafter referred to as O-Nexus) on May 28, 2026, Nakanoshima Qross held a tour and exchange of opinions session with the cooperation of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. Twelve people (from nine companies/organizations), mainly from startups and support organizations, participated.

Following greetings from the Japan Medical Innovation Foundation, a tour of Nakanoshima Qross and the planned O-Nexus floor (8th floor of Nakanoshima Qross) was conducted. The tour included explanations of the meticulously designed office structure and features aimed at fostering lively communication that leads to innovation. Participants viewed the tour with interest, imagining the future community building among users and the innovations that will arise from it.

Next, Nippon Life Insurance Company and CIC Japan LLC gave presentations on the importance of forming an ecosystem community that will serve as a foundation for startups aiming for global expansion, based on their awareness of the challenges in implementing cutting-edge technologies in the life sciences field, an overview of O-Nexus, and CIC's highly specialized support system.

Following this, a discussion was held in which Nippon Life and CIC answered questions from the participants. The atmosphere remained friendly throughout, and many insightful questions and issues were raised, leading to a lively discussion with frank exchanges of opinions.

During the final networking session, participants actively interacted with Nakanoshima Qross and O-Nexus representatives. While enjoying light refreshments, they exchanged opinions on the challenges and problems they perceive in the growth and global expansion of startups in the life sciences field, and shared valuable ideas.
This event at Nakanoshima Qross provided a great opportunity to give everyone a bright outlook on the future as we accelerate our support for startups, foster innovation, and share it with the world.
