In Osaka Prefecture, with the aim of promoting the industrialization of regenerative medicine and related fields, we are implementing an information dissemination project to encourage residents to deepen their interest in the current state and future potential of research on regenerative medicine and other future medical treatments.　

This year, as part of our information dissemination efforts, we will continue to hold mini-events for children to further increase their interest in and appreciation of future medical care!

This is a fun opportunity to learn about the future of medicine through talks by experts active in the medical field, tours of cutting-edge research facilities, and hands-on learning experiences. We look forward to your participation!

"Future Medical EXPO for Kids" Event Overview (for 4th grade elementary school students to 3rd grade junior high school students)

  • 2nd time: August 24, 2026 (Monday) 13:00-15:00

• Capacity: Approximately 20 people per session (parental supervision is required)

    • Speaker: Megumi Madono, Associate Professor, Lifestyle Medicine Endowed Chair, Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University
    • Facility tour: Cerapha Bioscience Co., Ltd. - A tour of the lab, including the humanoid general-purpose robot "Mahoro".
    • Workshop: An experiential content presented by a company located in Nakanoshima Cross (AS ONE Corporation): "Let's extract DNA using everyday materials!"
