Yoshiki Sawa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Promotion of Future Medicine, which operates the international hub for future medicine "Nakanoshima Qross," attended the government-sponsored "Public-Private Council for Improving Drug Discovery Capabilities" held on Friday, July 10, 2026, and presented on the initiatives of the future medicine startup ecosystem at Nakanoshima Qross.

At the council meeting, stakeholders from the government, pharmaceutical companies, startups, investors, universities, and other organizations exchanged views on initiatives that contribute to the drug discovery ecosystem and future directions for improving drug discovery capabilities.
